Custom Software Development in Ghana

I build custom software for businesses in Ghana and remote teams when spreadsheets, disconnected tools, or off-the-shelf platforms no longer fit the work. That includes customer portals, internal dashboards, marketplaces, booking and logistics systems, SaaS products, APIs, payments, and real-time workflows. The engagement covers the interface, server logic, database, permissions, integrations, and production handoff as one system.

Problems this engagement is built to solve

The scope starts from the product problem—not a prepackaged list of technologies.

  • Critical operations live across spreadsheets, WhatsApp, and email
  • Generic software forces the business into the wrong workflow
  • Staff repeat data entry across systems and cannot trust reports
  • Customers lack a clear self-service portal or status view
  • The prototype is not secure or maintainable enough for real users
  • Payments, permissions, notifications, and data are loosely connected

What you should leave with

  • A system designed around the actual roles and workflows
  • A responsive interface connected to reliable server and database logic
  • Clear authentication, permissions, audit boundaries, and data ownership
  • Integrated payments, messaging, reporting, and third-party services
  • Deployment, documentation, and a path for continued development

What the work includes

A focused engagement covers the decisions, implementation, and handoff needed to solve the problem cleanly.

Product and workflow definition

Translate roles, processes, data, integrations, exceptions, and business constraints into a buildable product scope.

Full-stack application

Build the Next.js interface, Node.js server operations, PostgreSQL or Supabase data model, authentication, and permissions.

Integrations and automation

Connect payments, email, messaging, files, webhooks, analytics, and external services with observable failure handling.

Testing, deployment, and handoff

Verify critical workflows and edge cases, deploy the product, and document the operational and technical boundaries.

A clear path from diagnosis to delivery

You see what is being changed, why it matters, and how the result is verified.

  1. 01

    Map the operation

Observe how the work happens today, who performs it, where data enters, and where delays or errors occur.

  2. 02

    Define the first useful release

Prioritize the workflow that creates immediate value and postpone features that do not need to exist yet.

  3. 03

    Build complete workflows

Deliver vertical slices from interface to database so each feature can be reviewed as a functioning part of the product.

  4. 04

    Launch and improve

Test permissions, integrations, failure paths, and mobile behavior, then use production feedback to plan the next release.

Frequently asked questions

Practical answers before we define the project scope.

What kinds of custom software do you build?
I build web-based SaaS products, customer and staff portals, marketplaces, admin dashboards, booking systems, logistics workflows, internal tools, APIs, payment flows, and real-time applications. I do not currently advertise native mobile-app development as a standalone service.
How much does custom software development cost in Ghana?
Published full-stack application pricing starts around GHS 5,000–15,000+, but custom software is quoted after discovery because roles, workflows, integrations, data migration, and administration requirements change the scope substantially.
Can you improve an existing application?
Yes. I can add a workflow, repair an integration, improve permissions and data handling, optimize a slow Next.js product, or take ownership of a defined frontend-to-backend feature without requiring a complete rebuild.
Who owns the software after delivery?
The ownership, repository access, hosting, third-party accounts, and handoff responsibilities are agreed in the scope. My normal approach is to ensure the client has access to the code and production services needed to operate the delivered system.

How this engagement is scoped

Pricing
Full-stack applications typically start within the published GHS 5,000–15,000+ range
Typical timeline
Delivery is phased according to product scope and integrations
Ownership
A short discovery defines the smallest useful release before the final quote.
